Ergonomisch tegelzetten: zo ontlast je je lichaam tijdens het werk

Ergonomic tile laying: how to relieve strain on your body during work

Tiling is physically demanding work. Especially when laying floor tiles, you are often working bent over, on your knees, and with your arms far from your body.

Good posture is therefore important. Not only at the end of a long day’s work, but especially when you do this work every day.

The problem with reaching too far

The further your work area is from your body, the harder it is to maintain a stable position. You are quickly tempted to support yourself with one hand while working with the other.

But what can you lean on when there is a freshly applied bed of adhesive in front of you?

A support point in the adhesive bed

The MultiBuddy® was developed to provide a stable support point exactly where you need it. You place the tool in the adhesive bed and lean on it while working.

This keeps your working hand and supporting hand closer to the same level. You also do not have to lean against a clean wall or on a surface outside the work area.

Greater working range

An additional benefit is that you can reach a larger part of the work area from the same position. This can be particularly useful when correcting, measuring, and positioning tiles that would otherwise be difficult to reach.

Who is the MultiBuddy® for?

The MultiBuddy® is primarily intended for professional tilers who lay floor tiles. DIY enthusiasts can also use it.

There are two versions: the orange MultiBuddy® with non-slip feet and the grey version without non-slip feet.

Working more ergonomically sometimes does not involve major changes, but rather a smarter support point in exactly the right place.
