Strakke cellenbetonwand bouwen: begin bij het eerste blok

Building a sleek aerated concrete wall: start with the first block

You don't achieve a perfectly straight aerated concrete wall only when you get to the plastering. It starts with the very first aerated concrete blocks you lay. Small deviations accumulate as the wall is built. Working accurately from the start saves a lot of corrective work later.

Start with a solid foundation

Before you start, check that the substrate is suitable and level enough. The first layer of blocks in particular determines how the rest of the wall will be positioned. Take your time with this and check both the horizontal and vertical alignment.

Keep checking as you build

Even if the first layer is well positioned, regular checks remain important. By continuing to measure and correct during installation, you prevent small deviations from only becoming visible once the wall is already built.

Align aerated concrete blocks with MultiClips®

MultiClips® can help with this. Use the clips while laying the aerated concrete blocks to align the blocks with each other. Use a wedge to secure the clips to the front.

“A straight wall doesn't start with the finishing touches, but with the first block.” - Twan Geelen, creator of MultiClips®

Building straighter means less correcting

The more accurately you position the wall during construction, the less correction you will need later. Working accurately is therefore not only important for the final result. It can also reduce the need for remedial work.
