MultiClips® – bonding aerated concrete blocks flat and flush

Bonding aerated concrete blocks quickly and flush is a challenge, for both the professional craftsman and the DIY enthusiast. With MultiClips®, you can align the blocks flat and straight against each other, requiring less plastering.

Why use MultiClips®?

Aerated concrete blocks are often not aligned correctly. To get the wall flat afterwards, an extra layer of plaster is needed. Plastering is more difficult and takes extra time and material.

• Straight, flat walls: the clips hold the blocks in place while the adhesive cures.
• No unnecessarily thick plaster: a flat wall requires a thinner plaster layer.
• Less material usage: you save on plaster and adhesive.
• Compatible with your own system: suitable for almost any existing leveling system using wedges or spacers.
• Reusable wedges: the wedges can be reused.

How MultiClips® work

1. Apply adhesive and place clips: apply block adhesive to the aerated concrete block. Place the clips with the stop against the back of the block.
2. Place the next block: place the next block against or on top of the previous one.
3. Tighten with a wedge: tighten the clips in the joints at the front with a wedge. Slide the wedge in. The blocks are now fixed next to or on top of each other and can no longer move independently.
4. Break off the clips: has the adhesive cured sufficiently? Then break off the protruding parts of the clips along the break lines.
   • Back: remove by twisting.
   • Front: remove by tapping the clip with the wedge with a hammer.
5. Finished: your wall is flush, the joints are of uniform width, and the wall is ready for, for example, tiling.

How many MultiClips® do you need?

Use at least 3 clips per block. For 40 x 60 cm blocks, calculate about 13 clips per m². One package of 100 clips is sufficient for approx. 7 m².

Good to know

• The center piece of the clip remains between the blocks.
• Wedges are not included in the package. You can order them separately in our webshop.
• The wedges are reusable.
