Tiling takes a lot out of your body

When laying floor tiles, you spend a long time in the same position. You constantly reach for tiles further away and look for support: with your hand in the mortar bed, or against a clean wall. This strains your back and wrists and disturbs the mortar bed.

How the MultiBuddy® works

You place the MultiBuddy® directly in the glue bed. This gives you a stable support point right where you are working. Your working hand and your supporting hand remain at almost the same height. This creates a more ergonomic working posture and you don't have to reach as far.

  • Templates: you have a stable base when measuring and installing.
  • Tight spaces: extra support where there is little room to move, such as in a toilet.

Developed by a tile setter, for tile setters

The MultiBuddy® originated from the practical experience of tile setter Twan Geelen. He developed the tool to reduce the physical strain during tile setting and to make the work more comfortable and efficient.

In 2012, the MultiBuddy® was awarded the FNV Construction Health and Safety Award.
