How do MultiClips® work?
Bond aerated concrete blocks flat and tightly, starting from the first block.
A smooth wall starts with proper bonding
Aerated concrete blocks are often not properly aligned. Small deviations accumulate as the wall is built. To get the wall level afterwards, an extra layer of plaster is required. Plastering is more difficult and costs extra time and materials.
With MultiClips® you align the blocks while placing them. This means you have less to correct afterwards.
Step by step
-
Apply adhesive and position clips
Apply block adhesive to the block. Position the clips with the stop against the back of the block.
-
Position the next block
Place the next block against or on top of the previous block.
-
Tighten with the wedge
Tighten the clips at the front with a wedge. Slide the wedge in so that the blocks are held firmly next to or on top of each other.
-
Break off clips
Has the adhesive cured sufficiently? Break off the protruding parts along the break lines. Remove the back by twisting, and the front with a tap of a hammer on the clip with the wedge.
-
Finished
Your wall is straight and the joints are equally wide throughout. The wall is ready for finishing, for example, tiling.
What do you need?
- MultiClips®: minimum 3 clips per block. For 40 x 60 cm blocks, you can expect approximately 13 clips per m². A pack of 100 clips is sufficient for approx. 7 m².
- Wedges: are not included and are available separately in packs of 100. The wedges are reusable.
- Block adhesive
Suitable for:
Aerated concrete blocks 5, 7 and 10 cm thick.
